This year site is a little different than in the past. For starters the hosting platform, the database, the site itself. In the past we've used "Mixed" development environment, meaning, a little bit of everything, from Java, ASP, ASPX, CFM, MSSQL, MYSQL, Oracle, running generally on MS Server platforms.
This year approach was to approach the development with a focus on reducing the different types of technologies and software use. So here you have the 2008 website.

Nothing "elaborate" just a plain simply approach. Why? Its not that we lack the man-power or financial to develop using a broad-range of technology, our approach was to try something different. To see if we could do what we wanted to do with these technologies. A blend of simplication; yet attempting to provide as many different features as possible. We haven't thought about next year, but it will be something different. NOVELL, MAC or pure Sun Solaris then again if anybody has a spare OS390 we arent appoised to trying that either. We've thought about "recycled" technologies, i.e. Open VMS on a Digital 4300, using Sybase.
